Packer Shoes & sportswear apparel brand Starter collaborate to pay homage to Eddy Murphy’s cult classic film “Coming To America” with a capsule collection.
It’s hard to think about the movie without picturing Akeem and Semmi’s attempt to adapt to their new surroundings by abandoning their furs and gold for the more Queens-friendly look of some classic New York team Starter jackets. That image of Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall in their respective New York Mets and Jets jackets has become synonymous with Coming to America, and now almost 30 years later, we’re teaming up with Starter to re-release them to the public. __ PACKER SHOES
