Fashion

How would you define your personal style ?
Fly and Flashy being that I rap gotta stick out from the crowd !

Name some of your favorite designers or brands at the moment?
I'm more into my custom thing on the shirts. Its all about the fit and a nice fabric. I don't want nobody else wearing what I got on. Feel me ? That's why I started my "White America" line that can be found on itsCAINE.com. One piece is the flag with Cocaine lines for stripes and bullet holes for stars!  Shit happens though ! That's why I made the record Special "Same watch same shoes I just wear it better we might got the same shit but homie mine special" lol.  As far as the jeans man  RRL & J Brand my go to designers.

We all go threw different phases when it comes to style. What are some of your most memorable?
When I was a kid the Girbaud phase. I had every color imaginable and if I didn't my big homie did.  I used take his big ass jeans and put a belt on until they folded in the front. It was that serious lol.. Later on them Pelle coats definitely could get robbed fa them better take that bus in groups lol.

When it comes to personal style do you switch it up daily or reinvent every so often?
Every so often I might like something so much I buy the whole line. I definitely get bored  & will move along. My people love when that happens, early Christmas lol

Music

How did your get your start in music ? Was it wanting your message to be heard or a love for the art?
Watching my homies in school at the lunchroom table, hallways, etc get off. I was determined to learn how to do that. It wasn't the in thing like it is now. I was already artistic so once I learned a few patterns it was over . To answer your second question I definitely wanted to be heard even more then a love for the art.

With a project title like "White  America" its clear your not just making music for the club scene. What exactly do you set out to accomplish or give to the listener ?
Good question while the club scene is necessary I wanted to bring the hood's perspective into things like racial profiling, the economy, and politics. This was before the Trayvon incident   happened. The verdict came after all the songs were recorded. It made me feel like see I knew it was a higher reason that made me do this so I put the verdict on the intro.

How did the Don't Front My Move remix ft. Tree and Mikkey  Halsted come about?
My homie Goldy Barra sent me this beat that was so different and I just felt a need to talk about this new wave of fake that's been sweeping the game. Fake views fake followers fake support fake hand bags on fake women you know.... I sent it to Fakeshoredrive and Andrew Barber loved it. I'm like go ahead drop it. Tree called me like let me get on that. We leaked the remix & Mikkey hit me on twitter saying "thats the one let me get a verse" .....  I released it again and Kanye's DJ Mano from Treated Crew came to the video shoot and was like "I wanna do somethings to make this a even better record". We went back in the studio reworked some of the production and remixed the levels maaaan I love that song lol !

When it comes to producers on White America you used plenty of different ones . Was this done to showcase your versatility as a artist? If yes would you do the same for an album?
Yeah definitely and it was also because I spent so much time creating this project I went through so many different phases with working with each producer. As far as a album who knows I may just stick with one sound or I might bounce around. I can do it all. I guess the people will have to stay tuned. But for now Download  White America on livemixtapes.com datpiff.com or my official website itsCAINE.com
