SWAG OR SAD ?

I can recall back in high school (late 90’s early 2000’s) that most of the guys wore clothes that appeared to be their size or just a lil bit baggier than usual (hell, even I used to sag a lil bit); however, in the words of the late great Notorious BIG, “THINGS DONE CHANGED!”

The new phenomenon of skinny jeans and tight T’s has swept in like a bad habit and yes, it appears that it’s here to stay. However, when does swag turn into just plain sad? Is it the jeans that hang so low that make you wonder, “Where the hell is his (and sometimes her) belt?” Or is it the skinny jeans that appear to be so tight, that you feel sorry for its owner ever having thoughts of conceiving children in the future? Or maybe it’s the tight ass T-shirt that makes you glance at some dude and think, “Damn, it must be too cold in this hot ass club.” Or maybe it’s the “man purse” hanging over a guy’s shoulder and because it’s made by Gucci (maybe), you’re supposed to be like, “Yo, dude rockin the hell outta that Gucci purse.” I’m thinking maybe a finger snap will follow ... Granted I’m not a fashion expert when it comes to what’s hot; however, I do have an understanding of what looks good or bad. Whatever your fashion pet-peeve is, just say these four magic words in your head before you lose it: TO EACH ITS OWN !!!
