When it comes to footwear what are some of your favorite brands ?
Coming from Chicago you know we grew up rocking Jordans so any Jordan between 1-13. I like nikes (huaraches, griffey's, bo jackson's, 90 air max)
SnapBacks or fitteds ? Why ?
Snapbacks, I just think fitteds are played out...I'm a trendy person so I'm able to change with the fashion game.
What are some of the brands your rocking with at the moment?
I'm rockin with FUBU and AVIREX heaaaaaavy!! lol naw jk...True Religion, Ralph Lauren, Rock Republic, Levis are just some.
If it were 2006 what would you be wearing ?
If it wuz 06 I'd be wearing Coogi, Ralph Lauren Polo, Artful Dodgers, Red Monkeys lol
Favorite Chicago brands or places to shop in Chicago ?
I'm rocking with Kushhead clothing, Evil Lamb is dope, and my favorite stores to shop in would be DTLR, Jimmy Jazz, and Leaders
The Music !
Producing and Rapping you do both ! How did that come about?
I started off just rapping, freestyling and freestyle battling. Then one of my homies put me on to FL Studio and after struggling making my first terrible beats they eventually started to sound better lol. I dont like to brag but i know i have a god-given talent. I'm just musically inclined, like L know what sounds right and what doesn't. I can't play piano's or guitars at all but I can make it sound good through FL Studio.
When writing songs do you go in with the thought of making music the streets will embrace , but the radio will play ?
I actually want to make music that the streets will embrace, but at the same time the radio stations would play. I dont want to put any limitations on my music, I want to be outside of the box. I like to shock people, I can punchline rap, I can sing my auto-tune hooks and I can make songs for the ladies, I will try almost anything.
How would you describe your sound ?
My sound is a mixture of Midwest, Down South, and a lil' East Coast. Chicago is in the middle so its like a gumbo pot with the music. Its a little bit of everything.
Who are some of your musical influences rappers or producers?
Some musical influences for me would be Tupac, Biggie, Lil Wayne, Bump J, Kanye West to name a few. Producers would be Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Drumma Boy, Lex Luger, Shawty Redd, and Dj Paul
What are your thoughts about everyone wanting a part in the music business today ?
I guess everyone wants a part of something that could change there life, I feel for my people tryna make it out the hood. All I can say is keep pushing for it, if its meant to be it will happen. That doesn't mean that music is for everybody though lol. But if you feel like this is what your destine to do, make sure you give it your all don't half step it.
