Music Review: Wiz Khalifa - Taylor Allderdice

Thank you Wiz!!!!! This was the Wiz Khalifa I was hoping to hear when Rolling Papers dropped last year, but instead got a body of work I was not pleased with.  I understand that artists have to make the label happy but damn, I think deep down he realizes he let some of his fan down with the album.  That's in the past now and he is moving on, and it looks like he's moving in the right direction.  Let's get into this review shall we?
Throughout the entire mixtape Wiz is getting interviewed before every song, It's cool at first, but after you listen to it a few times through you kind of just want to hear the songs.  The first 3 songs are so smooth production wise that before you even get to track #4 you will already be pleased with the mixtape.  If you dabble in greenery "Amber Ice", "California", and "Mia Wallace" are perfect songs to get lifted to, and I can't help but to think that Wiz had that in mind.  "Guilty Conscience" follows serves as the intro to some of the more hard hitting songs on the album.  "Mary 3x's" is self explanatory if you know anything about Wiz.  When "O.N.I.F.C." is next and when this song comes on i immediately have to turn the volume up, and the same goes for the Rick Ross & Amber Rose featured "Never Been Pt. 2.  A few more of my favorites are "My Favorite Song" (f. Juicy-J), "The Code" (f. Juicy-J, Lola Monroe, Chevy Woods), and "Brainstorm".  The mixtape includes from Spaceghostpurp, Cardo, Sledgren, Big Jerm, Lex Lugar and more.  There is also an appearance from Smoke DZA on "Rowland".  I'm happy to say that Taylor Allerdice will be in rotation for a while.  If you dig Wiz I would definitely suggest having a listen!
