Style Feature:Lil Nardy

Today we have a style feature with BMB recording artist Lil Nardy. Nardy touches on everything from his favorite streetwear brands to his love for Nike and also being sponsored by brand Secret Scientist. When did you first realize you had a thing for fashion ?

When I was around 9 my mom used to pick clothes out for me but I wouldn't like them because I was very picky about what I wore. So she basically gave me the green light to pick out & dress the way I wanted.

Who or What has Influenced your style over the years ?

My mood might inspire the way I dress but I basically just like to be comfortable and stylish at the same time.

NIKE or ADIDAS ? Why?

Both are iconic brands but I'll have to go with Nike. Mainly because of the Air Jordan but they have had the best shoes since I can remember. From the Penny's, to the Deion Sanders, all of the Barkley's, I could go on and on about how epic Nike is.

If it were say 2009 what would you be wearing today ?

I was rocking A Bathing Ape in 2006 so I been hip to street wear for a while. I've been rocking with some of the brands for a minute as well. My style has been consistent over the years so I'd probably be looking pretty much the same.

What item or style would you like to see R.I.P?

I mean who am I to tell somebody how to dress but I do have a few I would like to see dead. I'll just keep it to myself because I wouldn't want to alienate a supporter and/or a potential fan.

Fashion tips for others ?

Be yourself, be comfortable, and there is no such thing as being overdressed.

What are your favorite brands at the moment ?

I'm sponsored by a new brand called Secret Scientist, their shit is tight. 10Deep is one of my favorites, Stussy, Polo is always classic, BBC/Ice Cream, the list goes on. I'll wear anything I think is fresh in my eyes. A brand really isn't that important to me but more of how you put it together. We're also launching our new brand High Price Junkie this year.

Favorite pair of Jordans?

The grape 5's, infrared 6's, true blue 3's & hare 7's

Flyest city in your opinion ?

When I travel a little more, I'll be sure to get back with you on that.

Who are the Top three- five flyest rappers in your opinion?

No specific order, no specific era Kanye West, Biggie Smalls, Cam'ron and Lil Nardy.
